Residential exterior rendering is photoreal 3D imagery of single-family homes, townhouses and small-scale housing — usually a front elevation, a garden-side view and an evening shot — used for buyer engagement, planning and contractor pitches.
Residential is the most-ordered service we run, by volume. 240+ delivered since 2011, mostly custom homes from architects in Northern Europe and North America.
The brief is tighter than commercial work — fewer stakeholders, fewer revisions in practice — but the standard for materials is higher. Buyers stand in front of these images and decide whether to spend €600k. So timber grain, render texture, window reveals and roof tile pattern have to read honestly.
Three views is the typical pre-sale set: front for the listing, garden side for the brochure spread, evening for the lifestyle image. Bundle that and you save €298 against three single invoices.
How does residential pricing work?
Single residential view is €599 — €100 below the standard exterior rate. The lower price reflects smaller site context, simpler entourage and tighter typical brief.
We tier residential below the standard exterior rate because the working hours genuinely run shorter. A custom home on a defined lot with a clear material palette ships in 3–4 working days, not 4–5.
The €599 covers everything most residential briefs need: photoreal facade, custom landscaping, two CGI people, one vehicle, sky and sun study, two revision rounds. No hidden line items.
Where residential gets expensive is when the brief expands beyond the house — extensive garden design with mature trees, swimming pool with realistic water, outdoor kitchen, cars in the driveway. Those add €80–€220 each, quoted before the work starts.
Do you handle planning-permission imagery?
Yes — and they're a slightly different brief. Planning visuals require accurate context, sun studies for shadow analysis, and material spec that matches the construction documents. Same €599 base price, no surcharge.
Planning officers care about three things: massing, neighbouring impact, material honesty. So planning-permission renders are usually less photographically dramatic than marketing renders — flatter sky, midday sun, faithful materials.
We can ship a marketing version and a planning version off the same model — that's a two-view bundle (€999) and is a popular configuration for projects where the same package goes to both committee and brochure. The planning version goes in front of the planning officer, the marketing version goes on the website.

Can you render a renovation or extension project?
Yes — renovations are 30% of our residential work. Send "before" photos and the proposed plans, we render the "after" matching the existing site lighting and context.
Do you do garden-design renders separately?
Limited — we render gardens as part of an exterior view, but pure landscape architecture briefs without a building go to a specialist studio we refer.
How do you handle planted vegetation that doesn't exist yet?
We use mature stock at planting size for year-1 marketing, mature size for year-3 to year-5 projection if the client wants both. Standard stock library covers 80% of European and North American species.
Can you render a house at different times of day?
Yes — day, golden hour, dusk, night. Each variant is +€180 off the same model. Most residential clients pick day plus dusk.
Do you do small spec-build communities?
Yes — small communities up to roughly 20 units fit residential pricing. Larger developments move to the masterplan / aerial pricing tier.
