Definition

Exterior architectural visualization is a photoreal 3D image, animation or VR scene of a building exterior, built from CAD or BIM and used to sell or approve the project before it’s built. That’s the whole job. Everything else — the lighting, the entourage, the camera height, the day or dusk variant — serves that one outcome.

Who hires us

Built for the people who sell architecture.

Real Estate Developers

Pre-sale visuals before ground breaks.

Architects

Competition boards, client presentations, planning submissions.

Landscape Architects

Site context, planting palettes, seasonal variants.

Real Estate Agents

Listing visuals for off-plan and refurbishment sales.

Contractors & Builders

Spec-home renders for buyer engagement.

Interior Designers

Outdoor extensions, terraces, pool houses, rooftops.

Process

Five steps from CAD file to final render.

  1. 1

    Brief & materials

You upload plans, sketches, references. We sign an NDA, lock the brief, quote the scope.

  2. 2

    3D model & cameras

We build the volume, frame the cameras, send a clay-render preview for sign-off — usually within 48 hours.

  3. 3

    First colour draft

Day 4–5 you get the first photoreal pass. Materials, sky, sun angle, vegetation, people, props.

  4. 4

    Two revision rounds

You consolidate comments. We turn each round in 24–48 hours. Camera, light, materials, dressing — fair game.

  5. 5

    Final 6K delivery

JPG, PNG, print-grade TIFF. Plus a 4K master if you bought animation. Files are yours, perpetual licence.

Why us

Three reasons clients stay for years.

01

Studio, not broker

We don’t outsource. Every render is made by an in-house artist in Vilnius. You email the artist directly during the project — no account-manager telephone game.

02

Flat rates, no surprise invoices

€699 for a standard exterior, €999 for aerial, bundles save up to 35%. The quote you get on day one is the invoice you sign on delivery — no scope creep, no “extra” line items.

03

14 years, 700+ delivered

Since 2011. Residential, commercial, masterplans across 23 countries. We’ve already met your weird site condition — we just haven’t worked on yours yet.

Exterior visualization, asked and answered

What is exterior architectural visualization?

Exterior architectural visualization is a photoreal 3D image, animation or VR scene of a building exterior — built from CAD plans, sketches or BIM models — used to sell a project before it is built.

Most exterior renders are still images at 4K–6K resolution, delivered in 4–10 working days. Aerial views, animations and VR walkthroughs are variants of the same craft. The job is to show light, materials, landscaping and human scale honestly enough that a buyer trusts what they see.

How much does a 3D exterior visualization cost?

A standard exterior render costs €499–€1,500 worldwide; ArchVisualizations charges a flat €699 for a single 6K view, €999 for an aerial, with bundle discounts from two views up.

Pricing scales with site complexity, not square metres — a custom villa with bespoke planting can cost the same as a 12-storey mixed-use tower. Aerial composition, dusk lighting and CGI people add roughly €100–€300 per view. Animations start at €2,400 for a 30-second 4K cinematic.

How long does a 3D exterior render take?

First draft lands in 4–5 working days for a single residential view; aerials need 5–7 days; cinematic animations run 14–18 days, including two revision rounds.

We model in parallel with you sourcing references, so day one is not wasted. Rush turnaround (48–72 hours) is available with a 35% surcharge when our queue allows it. We will not promise a deadline we can't hit — that's the deal.

What file formats and resolutions do you deliver?

Final stills come as 6K JPG, 6K PNG (transparent background on request), and a print-ready 300 DPI TIFF. Animations ship in 4K H.264 MP4 and ProRes 422 master.

For VR and real-time scenes you get an executable for Meta Quest 3 plus a browser WebXR build. CAD source files (3ds Max, Blender, Twinmotion) are not delivered as standard but can be purchased on top.

Who owns the rights to the final renders?

You own the right to use the final renders for marketing, sales, planning submissions and PR — perpetual and worldwide. We retain the right to show the work in our portfolio after launch.

If your project is under NDA we hold portfolio publication until you green-light it, no extra fee. The 3D model itself stays with us so we can serve future revisions efficiently — but you own every output.

What input materials do you need to start?

Floor plans, elevations, sections in CAD or PDF, plus any sketches, mood images or material spec — that's enough to start. BIM models (Revit, ArchiCAD) are welcome but not required.

For complex sites we also ask for a topographic plan or DWG, GPS coordinates for accurate sun studies, and any neighbouring volume data. We sign an NDA before you upload anything sensitive — standard practice, no friction.

How many revisions are included?

Two revision rounds and a final delivery — that's the standard scope. Each round covers camera, lighting, materials, vegetation and people in one pass.

A round means consolidated comments, not endless ping-pong. Extra rounds cost €120 each and are quoted before the work starts. Most projects close inside the included rounds — and a tight brief on day one is the cheapest revision.

Can you render a building that doesn't exist yet?

Yes — that's what most of our work is. Concept renders for unbuilt projects, planning-permission visuals, pitch decks for investors, sales centre marketing.

For pure concepts we work from sketches, massing studies or even a verbal brief plus references. Photoreal output requires a defined material palette, but we'll help nail those choices on the kickoff call.

Send a brief, get a quote in 24 hours.

Upload plans, sketches, mood images. We come back with a flat price, a delivery date, and the artist who will own your project. No discovery fee, no platform sign-up.
